During the lockdown period, which was a time of global uncertainty and stress, Daria began to have issues with her eating habits and weight, which affected other aspects of her life. This led her to delve into the study of nutrition, examining both the fundamental principles and the subtle connections between eating habits and their effects. She was not only interested in helping herself become healthier but also had a genuine interest in the discipline. Buckwheat once again came to her mind as something simple and nourishing, a natural product that she didn't have to worry about and a first step towards feeling better inside and outside. It would all start with a grain.
This is when the mission of Grechka was born: to bring the power of buckwheat to the plates of people in the UK and explore how it cultivates a culture of well-being.
