Pintinė crochet bag is an elevated take on the traditional woven baskets we grew up seeing just about everywhere in the Baltics. Inspired by our childhood summer days when we had nowhere to be, just roaming through meadows and picking berries, the textile pattern is developed using the crochet puff stitch technique in a non-conventional way. It's interlaced to replicate the pattern of the braided hair plait and the same method used in traditionally woven baskets. It takes 18 hours, more than two full working days, to handcraft the Pintinė rom start to finish.
